PDXs, ending in an "x", are patient direct and have never been in vitro. Xenografts ending in “m” are established from a cell line.

Patient-Derived Xenografts (PDX)

The Childhood Cancer Repository has patient-derived xenografts (PDXs) established from neuroblastoma, Wilm's tumor, Ewing's sarcoma, rhabdomyosarcoma, lymphoma, and acute lymphoblastic leukemia. These PDX models are available for limited distribution to investigators in immediate need of PDX models. We are working to fully characterize and expand the bank of PDXs and we will soon have more xenografts available for open distribution.

How to Request a Cell Line:

Before you begin, please open the shipping cart in a browser tab and leave that tab open until you are ready to submit your request.

Open the cell line table list pages in a second tab and make all your selections in the second tab while leaving the cart open in the first tab.

You can check your selections and make deletions from the cart in the first tab at any time.

Just click on reload or refresh in the first tab to see any changes to the cart.

When you are ready, enter your shipping information on the cart page in the first tab and submit your completed request.

(1) Select the cell line(s)/PDXs by clicking each check box next to the cell line name.
(2) Fill out the institutional or commercial/industry information at the bottom of the page.
(3) Attach a fully signed MTA (including Attachment A)
(4) Attach any additional documents required for your request (i.e. a justification for any request over 10 cell lines total)
(5) Click Submit.
